The HRSA funded project to assess the impact of health education credentialing is in its third year. Following the first two phases, building on input of a wide range of health education constituencies and clarifying the scope of the project, a third phase was developed to identify and clarify who are the health education employers. Results of efforts to identify health education employers and the plans for conducting the fourth phase involving data collection from employers, practitioners, universities, professional organizations and other key stakeholders will be reviewed.

Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to describe the processes used to identify who employs health educators. Participants will be able to explain the process used to assess the impact of health education credentialling on practitioners, health educators, and the public at large.
