Amputation prevention in the Indian health service

The Indian Health Service (IHS) has been instrumental in developing and implementing innovative programs to prevent diabetes related amputations. The IHS has developed screening and foot care guidlines to enhance prevention. The purpose of this presentation is to discuss IHS programs and their effectivness in amputation prevention.
