Infant oral medicine, development defects, oral manifestations of systemic disease, aphthous & other ulcerations

A thorough knowledge of size, shape, color and texture of normal oral structures facilitates assessment of hard and soft tissues of the oral cavity. More common oral pathology can be detected by other health care professionals. Oral manifestations of specific systemic diseases will be described.

Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to: 1. Recognize common oral soft tissue pathology. 2. Be familiar with some developmental aberrations and oral manifestations of specific systemic disease of the infant and toddler.
