Brandt Culpepper, PhD, Brandt Culpepper, PhD, and Brandt Culpepper, PhD. Gallaudet University, , brandt.culpepper@gallaudet.edu

Most states and territories in the US are focusing efforts on developing, implementing, and maintaining EHDI programs to ensure that congenital hearing loss is identified and that appropriate follow-up services are available for all infants with hearing loss and their families. Professionals involved with screening, diagnostic, and intervention services have developed benchmarks and that promote quality service provision. The importance on ongoing program evaluation and the role of the benchmarks that have been developed in maintaining quality EHDI programs will be reviewed in this session.
