The WHO World Mental Health 2000 (WMH2000) Surveys

This presentation describes the WHO World Mental Health 2000 (WMH2000) Surveys, a series of national and regional psychiatric epidemiological surveys being carried out in 28 countries around the world under the auspices of the World Health Organization. The rationale for the surveys, the main study design elements, and illustrative research questions will all be reviewed.
