This discussion will examine, from a public health perspective, the potential impact of the comprehensive, integrated SS/HS strategy on prevention of adverse mental health outcomes, violence and substance abuse, and the promotion of healthy development.

Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this discussion, the participant will be able to describe the public health implications of SS/HS.
