National Mentoring Program in Public Health: Welcome and Orientation

A basic session about the fundamentals of the mentoring program and how it works, what the mentors and mentees can expect from the chair, distribution of and discussion of mentoring materials, presentation of a general timeline, questions/answer period, and a presentation by a past mentor/mentee about the challenges and successes of their mentoring relationship.
Learning Objectives: This session will give a basic overview of the National Mentoring Program in pubic health and will also give attendees an opportunity to sign up for the program.
