| The purpose of this session is to hear about the latest findings from nationally recognized researchers who have developed interventions to reduce HIV infection in adolescents. Presentations address different intervention modalities, target groups, and settings. Given that the target population includes minors, addresses socially sensitive and controversial issues, and requires longitudinal study designs; the presenters will describe novel study methods. Better ways of preventing HIV infection among adolescents are urgently needed and the session will conclude with a summary of implications for future research and practice. | ||||
