| This session will focus on a variety of international community responses to environmental issues: a mercury spill in San Juan Peru, asthma in school children in Viet Nam, cholera in displaced populations in Zaire and four models of water purification systems and sanitation education: in the Dominican Republic, in Bangladesh, post hurricane Mitch in Central America and Kathmandu, Nepal. Presentations will identify the challenges the communities faced and describe the processes they used to address their unique situation. | ||||
