Protecting Worker Health: Union Organizing in the South

Objectives: (1) Provide an overview of union organizing in the South, including the particular difficulties of organizing in right-to-work states; (2) Describe two union campaigns, one among poultry workers, the other among truckers. Presenters will discuss health and safety issues among workers in these campaigns as well as community involvement and coalition building
