Privatization: Impact of Multilateral Development Banks on Worker & Public Health

This session will look at the impact of multilateral development banks on the public and worker health of receiver nations. Panelists will focus on the role that these banks have had in the privatization of health care in Latin America and the Caribbean, with a case study of the privatization of public health care in El Salvador. Privatization trends in the U.S. and how they relate to this discussion will also be included.
