Suddenly global health issues are the subject of G8 meetings and special UN sessions. This session will explore recent work by grantees and staff of the Bill and melinda Gates Foundation. What are some of the most recent developments in vaccine preventable diseases, reproductive health, HIV-AIDS and malaria? Where is the field likely to go in the immediate future?
