The forum invites abstracts and panel discussion proposals on topics concerning ethics and public health, with special focus on this year's theme, "Putting the Public back in Public Health." Submission of topics related to other areas of ethics and public health are welcome. A few suggested topics include:
- Community Values and Community Priorities: Public Health at the Crossroads
- Human Research Protections and Public Health
- Race, Trust, and Tuskeegee: Community Trust and Public Health Effectiveness
- The "Medical Police": Public Health and Individual Liberties
- The Ethics of Democratic Decision-Making in Public Health Policy
In addition to proposals of single abstracts, proposed panels of three to five presentations are welcome. The forum welcomes submissions by students and young professionals. We also welcome proposals for joint sessions with other APHA sections, SPIGS, and caucuses.
