The section invites the submission of abstracts for individual paper presentations, poster sessions, roundtable discussions, or invited panels for the 2002 Annual Meeting. Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:
- access to oral health care
- aging and oral health
- community-based models for access and prevention
- cost-effectiveness of public oral health programs
- Healthy People 2010 oral health objectives
- integration of oral health with general health
- international oral health issues
- oral cancer
- oral epidemiology, surveillance, and health services research
- oral health and special populations
- oral health and systemic disease
- oral health and tobacco use prevention and control
- rural health
- school-based oral health programs
Joint sessions and sessions co-sponsored with other sections, special interest groups, and caucuses are encouraged. Ideas for invited sessions and panels are also invited. Abstracts will be selected through a rated review process according to significance, timeliness, and overall quality.
