Socialist Caucus

 Submit Abstract
The Socialist Caucus, in keeping with this year's theme "Putting the Public Back into Public Health. ," invites sessions and/or individual abstracts on the following topics:
  • Articulating a Socialist Vision of Health Care in the U.S
  • Globalization and War
  • Impact of Corporate For-profit Managed Care on All
  • Impact of Social Class, Economics, Gender, Race/Ethnicity and Sexual Orientation on Public Health
  • Inclusion of Complementary and Alternative Medicine
  • Increasing the Role of People of Color as Public Health Researchers
  • Other Justice Issues in Health and Health Care
  • Other Topics
  • The Politics of Health and Health Care
The Caucus welcomes submissions from progressive voices who wish to share their vision at the 2002 APHA conference, and would especially like to encourage students and young professionals to submit proposals for oral or poster presentation or roundtable sessions.

When submitting a session proposal (not just a single abstract), please individually submit all abstracts to be included in that session through the web submission process. Then inform the program planner via email that you have organized a complete session (see address below). The email should include the name, address, phone number and email address of the session organizer, the title of the session, a list of the individual abstracts to be included in the session, their presenters, and the web ID of each individual abstract.
