Reducing Future Risk of Cardiovascular Diseases (CVD) among African American College Students attending an Urban Historically Black University
Learning Objectives:
- Identify health risk indicators for developing cardiovascular disease.
- Identify students' attitudes, lifestyles and behaviors that place them at greater risk for developing cardiovascular diseases.
- Develop an idividual action plan (i.e. exercise plan, diet) that will decrease risk of cardiovascular diseases among Afican American college students.
- Recognize responsibility for and control of their health.
