The Ford Foundation has played a leading role in encouraging the incorporation of research, training and programs on sexuality, sexual health and sexual rights. This presentation will: I. Summarize key points of a year-long assessment of the Foundation’s work in this area with recommendations for the donor community, II. Offer highlights of some programs such as community-based efforts to promote sexual health and sexual rights on the ground, and III. Share findings from efforts to strengthen research and training on sexuality in the South (India, Vietnam, Brazil) as well as the United States.
