Abstract #51269

Demonstration of public access to ADSS data through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Data Archive (SAMHDA)

Sarah Q. Duffy, PhD, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration, 5600 Fishers Lane, Rockville, MD 20857, 301-443-8565, sduffy@samhsa.gov

Access to public use versions of the ADSS data files is available online, at no charge, through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration's SAMHDA Web site. SAMHDA provides ready access to substance abuse and mental health research data and promotes the sharing of these data among researchers, academics, policymakers, and service providers. The use of SAMHDA and its features to access ADSS data will be briefly demonstrated, such as how data can be analyzed on the site or downloaded to personal computers for further analysis.
