The Institute for Public Health and Faith Collaborations, which is funded through a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, hpes for a critical mass of leaders who can competently align the strengths of religious and public sectors for the goal of improving community-scale health and wholeness. This maps the alignment of faith and health in the public domain and draws on a number of deep wells of research in public health in the public domain and draws on a number of deep wells of research in public health, and sociology and politics of religion. Is there an evidence base for this exercise similar to that emerging at personal scale understandings of spitituality and health?
