Learning Objectives:

• Participants will be exposed to various techniques of data integration and data management, including basic data warehousing concepts
• Participants will learn about data standardization techniques that allows for the use of disparate data sources
• Participants will be able to calculate rates, ratios and indexes that facilitate the use of seemingly incompatible data
• Participants will be exposed to a number of different analytical techniques and have the opportunity to apply them
• Participants will be introduced to the steps in moving from data to information to knowledge
