Adolescent Behavior: How Do We Handle It?
The purpose of this session is to present issues related to the behavior of adolscents as it effects their health. Behaviors specifically targeted include; healthy eating and physical activity, tobacco use, substance use, violence and sexual activity.
Learning Objectives: 1. Understand the mechanisms which trigger high risk behaviors 2. Understand the importance of community participation and resources 3. Exchange ideas on targeted prevention efforts 4. Apply information presented in development of prevention programs
