| Learning Objectives: --How to use PRAMS to assess the impact of new legislation on newborn hearing screening programs; --How to assess the proportion of newborns receiving hearing screening using PRAMS; --Learn the impact that early diagnosis of hearing loss in infants has on social and language outcomes; --Be able to describe the evolution of EHDI activities over the last 10 years; --Gain knowledge about the current challenges to EHDI systems and learn planning stategies for enhancing future development of EHDI systems; --Become familiar with EHDI resources available at the national, state, regional, and local levels --Learn how to tap into resources available in participant's practice area --Learn about the successful implementation of the Massachusetts UHNS Program and how to apply similar activities in practice areas | |||
