Food Sense for Adolescents and Children
This session will provide those attending with findings from several studies of food service programs and projects and several teaching approaches for influencing eating patterns among adolescents and children enrolled in schools.
Learning Objectives: Those attending this session will be able to 1. list and discuss at least six studies of food services or eating patterns among adolescents and youth in schools, 2. explain why selected strategies used by school food service professionals or those used in teaching certain nutritional principles succeed or fail.
