Abstinence, Safe Sex, and the Quality of Evidence
The papers in this session will address programs intended to reduce sexually transmitted infections and/or unintended pregnancies. Research and evaluation data will be reported to indicate the relative success of programs of this kind.
Learning Objectives: Those attending this session will be able to 1. list and discuss six studies that report the relative success programs for preventing sexuality transmitted infections and/or pregnancy and 2. critique to degree to which the papers presented accurately report how effective such programs are.
