Substances Affecting Moods and Behavior of Youth
This session will provide evidence from at least five studies that certain strategies and programs work or do not work when trying to prevent student use of selected substances that modify moods and behavior.
Learning Objectives: Those attending this session will be able to 1. list and discuss at least five recent studies of student use of substances that modify moods and behavior and 2. explain why selected strategies to prevent use of certain substances work or do not work.
