Health Effects of Agent Orange and Dioxins, Part II
The Vietnam Caucus Scientific Sessions will present an update of current findings concerning health aspects of Agent Orange and its contaminant , TCDD or dioxin. Results of individual epidemiology studies will be presented, as will reviews of the literature as well as current and planned US government activities in Vietnam.
Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to: 1. Learn about health effects of Agent Orange on humans. 2. Learn about US government activities regarding public health aspects of Agent Orange in Vietnam working with the Vietnamese government. 3. Learn of the conclusions regarding the US Environmental Protection Agency work on dioxins and health. 4. Learn the results of new epidemiology studies regarding dioxin and human health.
