Integrative medicine is more than just the addition of some CAM modalities to an allopathic practice. This session brings together panelists addressing philosophies and models of integrative practice. Issues involved in establishing, evaluating and maintaining integrative medial systems and facilities will be discussed. | |||
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to: 1. define Integrative Medicine, as distinct from complementary, alternative or allopathic medicine 2. discuss models that may be used for integrative medical practice 3. identify philosophical, practical and historical implications of integrative medical practice. | |||
