Tribal Epidemiology Centers: New Ways to Address the Public Health and Epidemiologic Needs of Native People in the US (Joint-sponsored by the AIANNH Caucus)
Learning Objectives: The learners will be able to: 1) Describe public health and epidemiologic issues impacting Tribes and Tribal health organizations, such as the "Epi Centers" 2) Identify common themes about how epidemiologic capacity can be built in Indian County in the US 3) Describe relevant epidemiolgic methods or important health and health risk findings from activities conducted by the "Epi Centers" that cuold be used to improve the health and well being of Native peoples in the US.
