| Firearms are prevalent in the United States, and account for large numbers of injuries. In addition, the pro-firearms lobby is well-organized and politically powerful. Exposure and use of firearms by adolescents has resulted in several national tradegies in recent years. This session describes recent research into the prevention of firearm violence, and unintentional firearm injury, in adolescents. | |||
