The Public Health Infrastructure: Its Status Post 9/11
This session will focus on the current condition of the public health infrastructure and the challeges facing public health workers in urban areas. Presenters will include two public health officials and the president of the New York City Fire Department EMTs and Paramedics union.
Learning Objectives: Participants will understand the challenges facing public health officials in allocating limited resources and the new challenges resulting from the disaster of 9/11.
