The Occupational Health and Safety Section welcomes abstracts on all topics related to workers’ health and safety. The Section is particularly interested in abstracts for complete sessions. Please refer to the list of recommended session topics.

You are invited to submit an abstract for a poster, oral or roundtable presentation. Please refer to APHA’s general guidelines for further information on these formats and indicate the desired format on your abstract page. If you are planning to submit a proposal for complete session, your abstract should describe the role, point-of-view, or perspective brought by each of the proposed speakers. Favorable consideration will be given to those individual abstracts or session abstracts that relate to the Annual Meeting's theme: "Behavior, Lifestyle and Social Determinants of Health." Preference will be given to sessions that are coordinate with other APHA Sections. Please indicate whether your session is to be considered for CE credit and in what discipline(s). All abstracts received by the deadline will be blind-reviewed by Section members, and ranked for quality and topic applicability to Section priorities.
