Peace Caucus

 Submit Abstract
The Caucus invites all APHA members to submit proposals and abstracts on broad range of topics relating to peace and justice, health and human rights. From your submissions (and suggestions for other speakers), session themes will be developed, and times will be allocated for individual presentations or panel discussions. We welcome co-sponsorship and participation in planning of these sessions by other sections, SPIGs, and caucuses, as well as by new professionals and students.


Topics of interest include but are not limited to:
  • Global arms trade
  • Health impacts of war in the Middle East
  • Terrorism and public health
  • Violence: A public health approach to prevention
  • War and Public Health
We are particularly interested in chapters of the Peace Caucus at each school of public health. Phone calls prior to abstract deadline to discuss your ideas will be most welcome.
