Submit Abstract

The section invites abstracts on topics that focus on innovative practice and research highlighting this year's theme "Behavior Lifestyle and Social Determinants of Health."The section encourages abstracts that focus on the lifestyle and determinants of fighting for a cause and on the conditions of an outcome.
Students and new professionals are encouraged to submit abstracts. The abstract must include at least three specific learning objectives that focus on public health social work. This is to be submitted with the abstract for each presentation. Below are suggested topics however, additional topic areas that discuss public health social work will also be considered.

  • Bridging the Gap with Language Barriers with a Cultural Diverse Population to Receive Social Services

  • Ethics Disparities of the Millitary Personnel Who Need Mental Health Services
  • Financial, Racial, and Ethnic Disparities with the Budget Cuts
  • How Do We Prepare Our Males for an Everchanging Role of War, Finance, Unemployment, Healthcare, and How it Impacts Them
  • How to Advocate to Bring a Positive Change of Healthcare Systems for the Elderly
  • How to Intergrate Faith-based Programs in Every Practice of Public Health
  • Human Rights Issues in a Global Perspective
  • Immigration/Impact on Social Service Delivery Systems
  • Impact of Welfare Reform on Families and Children
