This session will present an overview of this multi-site project including its intent, purposes, aims, and structure. The partnership resulted from grants to each of the four participating universities as part of the Prevention Research Centers that are funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Because each university in the national partnership was selected by the CDC, the partners had to do a great deal of formative work to coordinate their activities nationally while engaging locally with community partners. The session will emphasize how the four partner groups developed questions for cross-site comparisons and the outcomes associated with each of the sites, including community impact of the project, continued collaboration with local partners, community change activities, and measurement tools.
