The largest growth in the retail labor force is that associated with "supercenter". The economic and social implications of this growth on local communities is significant due to the uninsured aspect of the work force. This paper quantifies these impacts on public health.

Learning Objectives:

• Partitpants will learn to recognize and evaluate the community implications of the underinsured retail workforce associated with the explosive growth of "supercenters".
