Radford G. Davis, DVM, MPH, DACVPM, Center for Food Security and Public Health, Iowa State University, College of Veterinary Medicine, Ames, IA 50011, 515-294-8972, rgdavis@iastate.edu

Presentation and educational materials on all Category A, B, and C agents were developed for use in a Train-the-Trainer national Bioterrorism Awareness and Zoonotic Disease Education Program that was developed by the Center for Food Security and Public Health (CFSPH) at Iowa State University. These materials are in use by 46 states and Puerto Rico. Materials available include:

· Audience specific Power Point presentations targeting the general public, veterinarians, and food producers.

· Detailed Power Point presentations with notes for all Category A, B, and C agents (24 presentations covering 54 agents)

· Detailed fact sheets and references

· Information on how to use the materials

· Public speaking tips

· Handouts, large color wall charts on human and animal disease

· All materials on a CD-ROM and/or 3-ring binder

These materials will be demonstrated during this session with emphasis on how they can be tailored to a specific audience need.

The participant should come way knowing how the materials can enhance bioterrorism preparedness efforts at the state and local level, how the presentations can be modified for a specific need or audience, and how these materials can be ordered.
