William C. Livingood, PhD, Institute for Health, Policy & Evaluation Research, Duval County Health Department - University of Florida, 900 University Blvd North Suite 604, Jacksonville, FL 32211, 904 665 2339, William_Livingood@doh.state.fl.us

The HRSA Study of Health Education Credentialing is intended to assess the impact of health education certification as seen through the eyes of major stakeholders. Phase 3 of the HRSA Study is intended to fill a critical gap in information on a major stakeholder, employers of health education. The study used a random sample drawn from a variety of health education data-bases. Included in the analysis was a comparison to Department of Labor employer data, providing a clearer picture of where health educators are employed.
