Action Plan to Improve Environmental Knowledge for Health Care Providers: National Forum Report

Recognizing the need to improve the environmental knowledge of health professionals, over a hundred leaders in medicine, nursing, and environmental health gathered at a national forum in Washington DC and outlined a range of strategies and activities for integrating environmental health into primary health care education and practice. This presentation will summarize these strategies, the specific action items identified to overcome existing barriers for successful implementation of these strategies, and the tools and resources on this topic.
