Social capital buzz

The term “social capital” has become the newest public health buzz-phrase. The term is following the standard trajectory of many public health buzzwords of phrases, from its development as an esoteric but intriguing concept to become universally applied and meaningless. This presentation will review the term “social capital”, its meanings, how it is used and thought of, and the potential for its continued usefulness.
