The purpose of this presentation is to address the broad range of triumphs and challenges in public health for facing the challenges of the 21st Century. Specific needs will be discussed for investing in the public health workforce for addressing the public’s health today and into the future; and, the need to advocate from needed resources for our core values and functions.
