The Synergism of Violence and Substance Abuse
The complex connections among sexual assault, substance abuse and violence will be discussed as well as the components of the Violence Prevention Initiative 2. Difficulties of reaching and engaging these high-risk populations will be explored.
Learning Objectives: Participants will: 1)learn the components of the Violence Prevention Initiative 2; and 2)understand the complex connections among sexual assault, substance abuse and violence.
