This session will be describing the extent of the problem of pediatric diabetes; hear of special issues of obesity and diabetes in the Latino and African Anerican populations; and after exploring the obstacles to reimbursement for care look at possiblities for advocacy.
Learning Objectives: Participans will 1)learn of the extent of the problem of pediatric diabetes; 2)hear of special issues of obesity and diabetes in the Latino and African Anerican populations; and 3)explore ways of reimbursement for care.
