National advocacy organizations representing key components of the health care safety net will provide an update on current legislation and regulations at the national policy level that impact the safety net. They will place issues in the context of what grass roots advocates can do to influence national policymakers and legislators. They will provide some insight as to the interface between local and national policies as well. | |||
