Public Health Considerations for Acupuncture in the US
Learning Objectives: 1) Participants will become familiar with the developing roles being played by acupuncture in American medicine and American public health. 2) Regional similiarities and differences between California and New England will be examined for the role of acupuncture in public health settings. 3) Participants will gain some exposure to the history and current professional and regulatory issues for acupuncture in the US.
