Innovative Topics - Developing Environmental Health Indicators and Outcome Measures: Poster Session
This Poster session provides a broad overview of issues in the development and use of environmental health indicators and environmental health assessment. Topics range from the implementation of a Systems based approach to the assessment of water safety, to the evaluation of data sources for tracking environmentally-mediated diseases, to the identification and development of online resources for environmental health.
Learning Objectives: After attending this session participants will be able to: Assess methods for evaluating and choosing appropriate data sources for tracking environmentally-mediated diseases. Describe the conceptual issues related to the selection of topic areas and data elements for environmental public health tracking and become acquainted with approaches to addressing them. Describe several methods that have been implemented to assess environmental health outcomes.
