This session contains contributed posters on childhood lead poisoning, including risk factors, screening, environmental investigation and hazard reduction.
Learning Objectives: At the end of this session, participants will be aware of: 1. factors associated with declines in children's blood lead; 2. factors associated with physician practices related to lead screening; 3. approaches for reduction of exposure to lead hazards in soil and housing; and 4. the components of a comprehensive lead hazard reduction program.
