Community-Based Public Health Caucus Working Groups Meeting
Are you a community member, practitioner, or researcher working in community-based public health? Or maybe you've been hearing about the fantastic partnerships, programs and research that make up community-based public health and want to find out more? Join the Community-Based Public Health Caucus! The goals of the Community-Based Pubilc Health Caucus are to: -PROMOTE PARTNERSHIPS among institutions, agencies and organizations that advance health goals in communities; -ENHANCE THE CAPACITY of all partners to address community health issues through CBPH approaches and partnerships; -PROMOTE UNDERSTANDING and PRACTICE of community-based public health; -GATHER and SHARE INFORMATION about community-based public health; -PROMOTE LINKAGES with organizations that share the goals of community-based public health; -DEVELOP and PROMOTE POLICIES which support and advance community-based public health. At this meeting, we will divide into our three working groups, and work on: -Expansion of Caucus Membership -Development of Policy Papers and Advocacy -Preparation of Presentations, Sessions and Publications Find out about the exciting activities and programs of the Community-Based Public Health Caucus, and get involved!
