Contributions of Zambia Integrated Health Programme in Health Service Delivery

The Zambia Integrated Health Programme is a non governmental programme established in 1999 after a USAID agreement with the Zambia government to assist/improve Health Service Delivery, Health Systems, Health Communication and Social Marketing of health products. The programme is coming to an end in September 2004 and the purpose of this poster presentation is to show some of the deliverables, experiences and lessons learnt. The poster presentation will mainly focus on the deliverables from the service delivery component (ZIHPSERV) especially those that relate to integrated health service delivery in Child Health, reproductive health and some of the community aspects of integrated health services. This presentation will benefit developing countries that would apply a similar integrated approach to health service delivery.
