Health and Community Empowerment in Mexico and Central America

This paper will present aspects of several community health projects in Chiapas, Mexico, El Salvador and Nicaragua which seek to accompany communities and teach health promoters in a manner that helps them find long-term solutions to health problems. Opportunities to volunteer in international projects will also be discussed.
