The workshop will: Identify how culture, race, and ethnicity affect eating and physical activity and which programs are appropriate for low income ethnic adolescents;

Provide practical, interactive, hands-on techniques and activities to use with adolescents in community–based programs;

Share strategies and approaches for improving health, building community partnerships, working with youth, and promoting nutrition and physical activity;

Discuss collaboration with partners (e.g., private, public, federal, local) to improve nutrition and physical activity of adolescents in schools, after-school programs, and communities.
